I was in several stores in the last week and Christmas decorations and decor are already up. It’s not even Halloween! I have been crushing on the gingerbread theme that has been the hot theme for a couple of years. I love all of it. It’s a good thing I do have some self control because I know I will get tired of gingerbread items at some point. I was in Walmart doing my weekly shopping (we don’t have a Target), and I saw the cutest gingerbread man pillow! The Walmart pillow ( top pillow) was only $9.16. The one I have been eyeing on Pottery Barn (middle picture) $69.50. I happened into World Market (bottom picture) and their pillow is $24.99. All three pillows are pretty much the same size. I have not checked HomeGoods however, y’all know that when you see something in HomeGoods you have to commit then and there. It usually is not there when you return. If Pottery Barn is the love of your life (as it is mine), I would wait till after Christmas. I do this with items I really really want from Pottery Barn. One cautionary note, watch the website. Items sell out quickly after Christmas.
I didn’t purchase the Walmart pillow because I am not sure how I will use it. I will think about that. I do have a feeling that more than one of the Walmart pillow cuties will be coming home with me very soon.
